        1) Gene reported that cabins have been reserved for the Spring tournaments.  3 cabins have been reserved for each tournament, and the club will pick up the costs for one night for each.  Members will be required to make a fishing commitment at the club meeting the month prior to each tournament.  This will allow for any changes that may have to be made.  Members will need to declare their intent to fish at the February meeting for the March tournament. at the March meeting for the April tournament, and at the April meeting for the May tournament.  Only unforeseen emergencies will change members' obligation to pay their share for the tournaments.  Should a member not be able to make a fishing commitment, they will have to sleep with whatever is leftover, i.e., sofa, floor, cot.  Also, guests will have last choice on sleeping choices.

       2) In order to avoid any potential problems, members should be able to declare their intent to fish at the scheduled meeting prior to the tournament.  This will allow all boaters to be subject to the draw.  Should a member not be able to declare their intent to fish and not be subject to the draw, they will be required to fish alone if they show up for the tournament.  If a member's actions indicate a cause for questions, the matter will be handled by the club's officers on a case-by-case basis.
